Tammie Kaib Medical Recovery Fund

HI, my name is Tina Mullins and my dear friend, Tammie Kaib, along with her granddaughter, granddaughter's friend and six year old son, were t-boned in a horrific accident on June 1,2023. Thankfully, her granddaughter, the granddaughter’s friend and son, thankfully, escaped minor cuts and bruises. However, Tammie took the brunt of the hit and suffered two broken hips, a broken pelvis – front and back, a damaged pancreas, lacerated kidney and spleen, fractured ribs, broken clavicle, broken sternum, head trauma, broken tailbone to the S1, with all discs herniated in her back.

Her hips and pelvic bones were surgically repaired with numerous pins, screws and rods. Surgical repairs to her pancreases were too risky at the time. Miraculously, she is able to walk with assistance but has a long journey to reach full recovery.

Unfortunately, when an insurance claim was filed it was learned Tammie’s paid premiums were not being credited to her account. The data entry errors leave Tammie without insurance coverage to honor the payment of medical expenses.

Meanwhile the hospital she was taken to released her, without her consent, after she refused pain medication which she knew would fatally harm her. So presently, Tammie has been abandoned by healthcare and is without insurance.

Tammie is self employed and will be unable to work until she has fully recovered!
