Tammy Bowman

My name is Scott and my sister Tammy (48), had a brain bleed and now has to learn to walk again. She has fallen multiple times. Tammy has a long way to go and is in severe pain. She is in rehabilitation; however, her insurance has now declined to pay for further rehabilitation and physical therapy. She is still unable to walk and physical therapist indicated she needs at least another 30 plus days in rehabilitation to be able to go home. Our mom is having her own medical issues and unable to help her if she is unable to walk. My sister is unable to pay the costs of rehab and physical therapy, which she needs to be able to walk again. Our dad was a former Assistant Fire Chief Gary Bowman of the Olathe Fire Department, who is now deceased. The costs associated with her recovery is $525 per day for rehab and physical therapy (5 days per week) and $341 per day for the remaining two days. Thank you for any help you can provide.

UPDATE: My sister Tammy is still unable to walk and has fell several times since posting. Insurance still hasn’t paid for and has refused to pay for her rehab. She only receives disability and that is not helping her and she’s unable to pay for the care she needs. Please help if you are able. Tammy says thank you from the bottom of her heart! God Bless!
