Tammy Davis needs a HOME

Hi there, my name is Carla and I’m trying to raise money for my mother in law Tammy Pope Davis. On 8/15/2023 a terrible storm came through Creedmoor and a tree fell on the mobile home she rents. We have not gotten confirmation that her landlord plans to fix the property and she may have to find a new home. She has lived at the property for over 20 years. She is an animal lover and rescues cats and dogs. She currently has 8 dogs and over 10 cats (people drop them off randomly). She makes sure they are all loved, spayed/neutered, and have full tummies.

She was sitting in her bed when the tree came into her bedroom. It damaged her window ac unit and took down the whole end of the trailer which was her bedroom, many items are damaged. The tree also fell on her outside fence.

She is on disability and has no other income.

If the home is in disrepair or condemned she will be using this money for start up costs to find a new home, or possibly buy an RV as many places do not accommodate so many animals and she cannot fathom losing her babies.

update 8/17/2023: Tammy is still without power. The power pope fell on the tree and all of the lines. She has been having to travel back and forth around 10miles to take a shower at night. She has no way to keep food cold or heat it. All of her neighbors are without water since the pump house was also destroyed.
