Tammy Gregg Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Amanda Cartagine and I am the sister of Tammy Gregg. I would have never dreamed that at the start of 2024 my sister would be facing the biggest battle of her life. Her battle started on December 10th when Tammy went to the ER due to anemia. The ER physician was very concerned about her symptoms and decided to order more labs and a CAT scan. The CAT scan came back showing that Tammy had multiple masses in her lung, abdomen, and breast. She was immediately referred to an oncologist and was seen by the oncologist on December 12th. On December 14th Tammy underwent surgery to biopsy the masses in her lung and her abdomen. The biopsy results came back as stage 4 metastatic melanoma. On December 20th Tammy had a PET scan that showed the cancer has spread to her lungs, breast, abdominal wall, colon, lower back, and also in the bone of her right shoulder. On December 22nd the oncologist informed Tammy that they would start immunotherapy in the hopes of giving her more time but that he would not be able to cure her. On January 11th Tammy received her first immunotherapy treatment and the battle to get more time with her two precious young boys began.

Since her diagnosis Tammy has had to take a leave from her job as a real estate agent. We have been so blessed to have a community of friends and family that have loved and supported us through this difficult time.
