Tammy Roemer

My name is Alan Roemer and I'm fundraising for my sister, Tammy Roemer. This is difficult for me because we are both strong, independent people and never wanted to be in the position of needing help (my sister will literally let bills go unpaid in order to not have to ask for help). However, Tammy was recently diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. The good news is this cancer should respond well to chemo and radiation. The bad news is the newfound doctor visits are taking a toll on her limited income. She has a family of 6, which includes our mother who now requires round the clock care, due to her age and deteriorating health.

Tammy has insurance, but it's the copays and office visit costs (especially before the deductible is met) that are eating her lunch. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Even if you can't contribute, any prayers, happy thoughts, or good vibes would be greatly appreciated. We're in an uncharted area for our family and our mom had really been struggling with this emotionally. I'm struggling with being in a position where I need to ask for help. I value my independence and I don't have control and can't offer the resources my family needs right now.
