Hello Everyone,
With heavy hearts, we announce that Tammy S. Steinbrick, 59 of Putnam, CT, passed away on April 18, 2024 at W.W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT. She was born February 14, 1965 in Putnam, CT, daughter of James Mazzarella and Ella (Carrier) Willard. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Tammy was predeceased by her son John Alexander Steinbrick.

After work she could be found crocheting a new blanket or watching one of her favorite true crime shows. If it was a nice day out, she would be working in the yard, as growing up on a farm house led to her having as green thumb and a love for gardening. On Every shopping spree, Bob Seger had to be playing in the car. Tammy also enjoyed spoiling her three grandkids. She was loved by her four kids Kevin Butler, II, Nicole Steinbrick, Alexa Steinbrick and Oscar Steinbrick all of whom originate from Putnam, CT. Tammy’s many talents, love and bravery were limitless and will forever be remembered by her friends and family. The family asks in lieu of flowers, to donate to the gofundme.(gofundme.com/Tammy-Steinbrick).
A calling hour will be May 16, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM, burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson, CT.
