Tammy's Battle

Hi Everyone, first I would like to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Rachel Stamey, I am a small business owner in Conway, SC.
In March 2017, I put a job position out that my business was hiring. On March 1st, I was introduced to a woman by the name of Tammy Tesiero. She was very interested in the position that I had available. After 2 weeks, Tammy began working for my company. Tammy and I grew very close. Her personality was just astonishing. She always has a smile and always treats everyone with the most respect.
Tammy and I talked almost everday. She had told me that she was diagnosed with Colon Cancer back in 2013. She thought she became cancer free.
A few weeks ago, Tammy told me that she was not feeling well, and was having headaches. On Tuesday Sept 5, 2017, she left work early because her headache was so intense. She went and checked into our local hospital Conway Medical Center. After a scan in the emergency room, she was immediately flighted out to MUSC in Charleston, SC. The doctors at Conway found 2 masses on Tammy's brain, and it was very imperative to get her to MUSC as quickly as possible.
Tammy has now been at MUSC and a drain tube has been placed to drain fluid and pressure from her brain. The doctors have diagnosed her with cancer once again. Only this time, she is diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung and Brain Cancer :( She will soon start receiving Chemo and Radiation.
Tammy is a loving mother to a sweet little girl named Mya, and a loving wife to her husband named Jay. She is a very hard working woman and active in Church and has very strong faith.
We are asking for your help, to cover medical expenses and to help Jay and Mya with travel expenses, and whatever else is needed in this difficult time. Rather it is a dollar or two, and most importantly we are asking for your prayers and thoughts.
If you are local, and would like to stop in to our store (Waccamaw Grocery) for donations, you may do so as well, we will also have Cancer shirts available this week for sale. All proceeds from shirts will be donated to Tammy and her family as well.
