Mom's Surgery Fund

As many of you may know, my Mom has been struggling with her appendix. A year and a half ago it ruptured and caused a massive infection in her abdomen. She went to the doctor multiple times and every time was told that she simply had the flu. By the time she was properly diagnosed the infection was so bad that she was told she might not make it. The situation was complicated by the immunosuppresants drugs my Mom takes to control her crippling psoriasis and arthritis. Just last week she started to present with the same symptoms she had a year and a half ago. We were all extremely worried. Luckily, this go around she was diagnosed much earlier and was able to get treatment before the infection spread. However, her surgeon has decided that her appendix needs to be removed. What would normally be a routine procedure will be rather complicated. My Mom's appendix is surrounded by damaged and scarred tissue as a result of the first infection. She will need to have full abdominal surgery which will leave her with a lengthy recovery. We expect she won't be able to return to work for 2-3 weeks. 
Mom never asks for much but I know she needs some help now. Between the expense of the surgery and the time away from work, money will be hard to come by. But anything and everything helps and will be so incredibly appreciated. Mom has always taken such good care of me and everyone in her life. I would love to be able to help her out and make this whole situation a little less stressful.
