Help Tamora Gooding during her recovery

We all know that Boston's music scene is richer for having the incredible Tamora Gooding at its heart. Tamora is the driving force behind the rhythm in some of our favorite bands, such as Magen Tracy & the Missed Connections, Gene Dante & the Future Starlets, A Band of Their Own, Axemunkee and countless other bands and studio projects. For Tam, drums are not just her passion but the driving force behind everything she does.

However, life has taken an unexpected turn for Tamora. On Monday she ended up in the ER facing a life-threatening situation requiring immediate surgery, leaving her with a little less intestine. Thanks to her caring and skilled medical team, the surgery was a success, but her recovery will be long and certainly challenging.

Tamora's not just a drummer; she's a skilled gardener and landscaper, and her ability to work has been abruptly halted. Tamora won't be able to finish working this season on top of putting a pause on her gigging and teaching. This GoFundMe campaign has been created to offer support to Tam. We can alleviate the financial burden that is piling up as Tamora focuses on healing and rehabilitation. The funds raised will go toward covering living expenses and medical bills, ensuring that Tamora can focus on her recovery without the added stress of mounting financial obligations.
