Tanaka-San
Don protégé
Hello,
Thank you for showing love and support to Tanaka. My sister is Angie, wife of Masataka Ido. Tanaka has been such a huge part of their lives and in turn become a part of my family as well. He has been an extra uncle to my nieces and nephew. I cannot even begin to explain how much that means to me!
For this reason, I asked my sister and brother-in-law's permission to start this page.
Originial post from Hapa:
It is with great sadness that we share we had to take our Co-Owner/Head Chef, Daisuke Tanaka to the ER Saturday night. He received a successful emergency surgery at St. Francis Hospital for a very serious heart condition. He is now in recovery, and we promise to share updates of his recovery in the coming days and weeks.
Here are some ways in which we would appreciate your support:
Share our Facebook posts so that others can rally behind Tanaka in his recovery.
Stop by and leave a get well soon card. We will collect these to take with us to the hospital.
Keep in mind that Tanaka’s family resides in Japan. Our community has become his family and he loves each of you as if you are his American family.
Most importantly, don’t give up on us! We are a small, family owned restaurant. We are experiencing all the things that come with having a family member in the hospital while also running a business.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of love we have received.
