A tandem Skydive for Macular Society

Hi, my name is Jade, I am fundraising for a sponsored tandem Skydive on the 24th of June, raising money for the Macular Society charity.

I have maculopathy myself, which is something many diabetics have/will get. I also work in the ophthalmology department (eye clinic) at Royal Blackburn Hospital and see many patients each day affected by macular diseases.

Nearly 1.5 million people in the UK have macular disease and age-related macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK. So any money raised will help many, many people!

A skydive is something I have always wanted to do, so to raise money while doing it, especially for this cause, seems an amazing idea.
