Tandem Skydive in Memory of Jenny Garner

Hi, my name is Paul and on Friday 26th August I will be jumping out of a plane ✈️ and completing a tandem skydive from 15,000ft! (The highest you can jump from in Europe!)
Anyone who knows me will know this is a pretty big challenge considering I’m absolutely terrified of heights!

However I wanted to push myself beyond my comfort zone and do this in honour and memory of my lovely Mum who sadly passed away at the age of 62 on the 18th May 2022 after a short battle with brain cancer, a Glioblastoma to be exact.

Sadly I was already aware of this cruel disease prior to my mum’s diagnosis as my very good friends Mike and Joanne sadly lost their amazing little boy Jacob aged 3 to the same disease in 2019, so this jump will also be in memory of him.

Currently there is no cure for Glioblastoma's and the prognosis is generally poor even with treatment which is why I want to raise as much as possible to ensure that a cure can be found for future generations.

All funds raised will go directly to The Brain Tumour Charity which is the leader in its field, funding world-class research, providing support and information and raising awareness of brain tumours. It is dedicated to beating this disease.
