Tangerine Neuro FIP meds
Donation protected
I’m here once again asking for help for my fighter Tangerine, I rescued Tangerine in March of 2022. He was in terrible shape with a head tilt , probably a long time ear infection and he was suffering from what I thought was just an URI , turns out the infection is much more serious and became chronic.
Throughout this time we have been to countless vets , countless blood panels run , in July 2022 he was blocked which caused another ER visit .
With steroids and antibiotics I’ve been able to care for him until July of 2023 when he “crashed” due to his infection , and then again on December 7 ,2023,
The only thing that was able to turn him around quickly was a depo steroid injection , both of which resulted and possibly caused a neurological episode / seizure the following day .
Based on what that last neurological seizure looked like in December ,(thankfully I got it on video) His vet believes this has now triggered and become neuro dry FIP.
(feline infectious peritonitis) in neurological form .
We still have time to stop this from getting any worse and eventually fatal , but it requires medication with an 84 day treatment plan .
FIP medicine is very expensive and with Tangerines weight we are going through lots of it very quickly !!
I have joined FIP warrior groups and along with some amazing rescue friends , we have begun giving Tangerine his daily injections , the medicine is very expensive and the only way we could do this is with help . After 30 days of medication he will have his bloodwork run again and let’s hope for better results this time . Thankfully I have found help injecting tangerine daily but this also costs us along with the extra bloodwork he will need at the end of this month !
Please consider donating for Tangerines FIP medicine/ costs ! let’s do this in hopes that it will finally cure him .
Thank you guys for always following along and helping me care for so many including Tangerine who deserves to live the rest of his years comfortably!!
