Tango’s medical expenses
Donation protected

This cutie pie is Tango, a Belgian Malinois puppy who left his breeder only to be returned 10 days later near deaths door.
Sometime shortly after joining his family he ate something that resulted in a dangerous blockage in his digestive system. Not being aware that this was something that happened, the family did nothing. Tango got “very sick”. They finally contacted the breeder stating they were sold a sick dog and asked to return him. The breeders were shocked at the state Tango was in when he returned to their home. He was emaciated and had personality changes indicating he was in pain.
The breeders sought out emergency vet care.
Emergency surgery was performed in the middle of the night. The blockage removed and Tango thankfully survived.
As responsible breeders, even the most careful screening process does not always mean new owners know enough about conditions that sometimes affect animals. The return of this puppy to his breeder and the emergency medical care they received saved his life.
We are asking for donations to help the breeder cover the cost of the surgery. The initial bill, just to examine and provide emergency care was over $2,000. There will be significant additional expenses for continued care.
