I have asked my good friend who is like family to me to start this GoFundMe because I cannot start one in Japan.

Some history: I had to have an open wedge knee osteotomy on my right knee on August 21st. Surgeon said this type of surgery is common among runners - which I was an athlete growing up - track and X-Country.

I was hospitalized for 3 weeks in Japan (discharged on September 11th) and have not worked for a month.

I am asking for any kind of help towards my situation. I am currently only working one day a week, and that will barely take care of my rent.
