Tannadice Scout Hut Repair
Donation protected
Our scout hut was severely damaged due to the flooding of storm Babet, where over 18" of water entered our hall causing significant damage. The group are currently meeting at Memus hall while the work to repair the hall is carried out. The cost to repair the hall is around £100k, the additional cost on top of this to future proof the building against future floods is around £35k which the group is currently fundraising for. The group plan to raise the floor by 2 1/2 feet along with the work associated with doing this, fitting anti -flood vents and floodgates on the doors. Tannadice Scout group has a great history in the area and provides fun and exciting experience for our 50 members along with teaching young people important Skills for Life. All support is greatly appreciated.
