Tanner Celano Memorial

Chris and Staci are starting this go fund me on behalf of Tim Celano and Shelley Cheney. This will help cover medical, hospice, and funeral expenses. There is no way to prepare for the pain that comes with losing your child, we have walked this journey and as a family, we wanted to help ease some of the financial strain this has been placed on Tanner's family.

Message from Tanner's Dad -

Tanner got his wings last night, after his extremely courageous fight with leukemia. He’s at peace now, in heaven with God, and the family that went before him.

Rest peacefully, Tanner, free from pain. I could not have asked for a better son. You are perfect to me. I love you more than anything or anyone, and will have the hugest void in my life and in my soul until we meet again.❤️❤️

“We were able to bring Tanner home on hospice Monday night @11pm, where we got him comfortable, and surrounded by his friends and family. Once we got him situated, we realized this was the right decision, even though he wasn't fully aware he was home. We do think he knew, though. Many people stayed until 3-4 am praying for him, and just being there for us and with us.

He had many more visitors yesterday, which showed us how loved he is and what great friends he has.

Sadly, last night, at 8:55 pm, Tanner took his last breath here on earth, as we all were crying, hugging him, praying with him, and assuring him he was going to a better place. He got his wings and now flies with the angels, free from pain and suffering, and lives in the presence of his heavenly Father. I'm sure my mom was one of the first to greet him as well, and she's holding him tight.

I cannot even possibly begin to tell you how agonizing this was for us; especially me and his mom. It felt like someone took a chainsaw to my insides. I didn't know that this depth of pain, sorrow, and emptiness could exist, but I'm here to tell you it does. I don't know how to cope right now and don't know how I will be able to in the future. Tanner is EVERYTHING to me. I'm sick to my stomach, and weak in the legs, not even knowing how I'm able to type this.

Tanner fought, and fought hard, right to the very end. He was comfortable and in no pain, as his breaths got slower and slower, and he passed peacefully, thank God.”
