Tanner's Knee Surgery - Torn ACL

For those who haven't heard his story, this dog would swim across the cove to visit the Nautifish Rum Bar at Lake of the Ozarks. At first he smelled bad and like a bar drunk everyone would tell him, "go home Tanner!" Until one day he just stayed. We cleaned him up, fed him, gave him a place to sleep and lots of love. We found out his owner had passed away and the owners wife was battling cancer in the hospital that left Tanner searching for a new "home." A long story short he came to us looking for a family and he found one. We've become very fond of him and he has adopted us along with the ginger tiki bartender who gifted him with a Nautical collar and a tag saying "Not all those who wonder are lost. I'm Tanner, Follow me to Nautifish Rum Bar, and with permission from his previous caretaker has made his new home at the Nautifish Rum Bar. He's a rather free spirit who roams around the cove to visit all the neighbors. He's been getting baths, food and lots of love. Sadly, Tanner has torn his ACL and needs surgery. The vets are saying the surgery could cost anywhere from $1500 - $3500. As we all know he needs to loose a little weight too. With your help, we can get Tanner back running and playing visiting all the neighbors in the cove :)
