Hello, As a family we have decided to put together a go fund me page for a sponsored Fancy Dress Climb up Pen Y Fan for our daughter/sister and her partner Jonathan.

After everything…

3 angel babies ️ ️️

2 life changing operations

The loss of both tubes

2 cycles of IVF. 1 failed

9 embryos (chances)

A worldwide pandemic

A special freezer

100s of injections

Countless appointments. ️

Encounters with lots of special nurses and consultants

1000s of miles driven

A pharmacy cupboard full of hormone medication and supplements.

Dates every other day with wander (if know you know)

A side room, plastic cup and a sticky 80s P mag.

Years of hatred for the body being born with.

Loss of herself and happiness for what their future holds.

Trying to accept a life with infertility.

Rivers of tears

One tested relationship  ‍

And the lost of a VERY devastating still birth and each mile stone they’ve missed.

The plan is for a group of us including family and close friends to be raising funds to climb Pen y Fan in fancy dress (something beginning with I V or F) next April to raise as much as we can to help them both with the costs of all things IVF.

After receiving their initial treatments though the NHS, unfortunately it was the last that the NHS could fund, trying to afford normal living/rent/bills/fuel and saving for normal things such as marriage, a mortgage and life in general is hard enough but for them to then have the added pressure of saving for a baby through IVF (each round costing up to £8k) which is something that usually comes naturally or free, we’ve decided to do this to try and help.

This would mean everything to Tanya-Maire and Jonathan who would never ask personally but we know would be entirely grateful for all the sponsors.

We understand it’s a big ask with everything going on right now which is why we are setting this up early so there is more time to raise the funds as and when people can.

We would be so so grateful for your help, even if you can’t afford to give, sharing this would be such a huge help.
