Tanya Willems Fight Against Cancer

Our beloved Sister, Aunt, Mother and Friend, Tanya Willems was recently diagnosed with bone cancer that all started with a simple pain in her knee back in April that has progressively become more and more debilitating. After several misdignosis, we still don't know much other than it IS metastatic, so it has come from somewhere else, and it is aggressive.

Tanya is in tremendous pain; the avocado size tumor has ravaged her left femur leaving her wheelchair-bound; still, she continues to make every effort to make it to work and serve the community she has so devoutly loved for the last 26 years.

Tanya has several appointments with an oncologist in Memphis in the coming days to locate the source of the disease and quickly get a treatment plan in place, which means more traveling and time away from home. We are trying to raise money to support Tanya and her family and ensure she receives the best level of care today and on the long road to recovery that lies ahead.

It is in these hard times that you see people coming together to help one another make it through. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide. We also encourage everyone to keep Tanya, Chris, Kalei, Hannah and all of Tanya's loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to fight through this together.
