Help Tanya with expenses after tumors’ eviction

Update from Tanya (4/23/23): First, thank you all so so much for the prayers, love, & support you’ve shown me through all of this! I made it through surgery in which Mortimer & Gus were kicked out, but Molly still remains because she’s on the opposite side. Mortimer’s tail had wrapped itself around my left optic nerve and had slightly invaded my brain, so some tissue around it also had to be removed (& now I can’t smell!). Pathology results indicated that they are atypical meningiomas (WHO grade II). Luckily Molly is very small, & she had the GammaKnife Radiosurgery procedure (basically, radiation) done on April 20th. Hopefully that zapped her right outta there as well, but I won’t know that for about 6 weeks.

Back to surgery, there were complications afterwards that have caused me to be out of work much longer than expected. I will also have many more doctor appts and procedures in the future, which of course means more unexpected medical bills. That’s why I’m now promoting this GoFundMe as I really do need the help! Not that I didn’t before, it’s just a lot more urgent now. I’ve finally been released to go back to work on May 1st (yay!!), so that will help but it’ll take me a while to catch up. Hello! I'm fundraising for my beautiful friend Tanya Cross. She has tumors in her brain. At first there was only 1 that she named Mortimer. Then came Molly and now Gus. Mortimer is the biggest and is causing problems with her vision and memory. Tomorrow January 30th She will undergo brain surgery to remove Mortimer. She will be off work for at least 8 weeks. Still unsure what will be done to stop the others from growing. She's had multiple doctor appts, numerous MRI's and other tests in the past 6 months, and will have many more in her future.
