It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Glenn Richard Tapp Jr. at only 51 years old.
Glenn leaves behind his devoted wife, Lynsey and two resilient children- Lorena and Stephen Tapp. As you can imagine Lynsey, Lorena and Stephen are extremely devastated by the loss of their amazing husband and father.
Glenn was a brother in Christ at LifePoint Church. He was a very special person who worked to provide for his family at Southwest Airlines. He had a very laid-back personality, quirky sense of humor and a deep love for his family.
Glenn's wife Lynsey now faces the task of being the sole provider for her teenage children who are preparing for college and goals for their future. The Tapp family is in need now of all support we can give at this time of grieving and finding a new way of life without their dad and partner. This loss of her husband creates a HUGE financial burden as Lynsey prepares to starts to figure things out from scratch.
During this time they will need help with funeral expenses, daily living expenses, mortgage, utilities and all other necessities that come with running a household with 2 children. The funds will help out tremendously while they work out the intricate details of day to day life without Glenn.
This loss is deeply heartbreaking and makes us all realize life can be cut extremely short and how much our loved ones truly mean to us. Glen's funeral plans will be held on April 11, 2021 from 3-6pm at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel in Manchester, MD. In addition, a memorial service will be held at his home church of LifePoint on April 12, 2021 at 2pm.
