Taps for T.A.P.S
Hi, we’re Scott & Sammi Armacost from Oakland, CA, and we are canoeing down 2,000+ miles of the Mississippi River as a small gesture to celebrate/honor the hundreds of thousands of souls that have died from Covid-19 since January 2020. I, Scott, will play “Taps” every evening at sunset wherever we may be on the river. We also want to provide a means by which anyone may contribute to a great organization - coincidentally also called T.A.P.S or Tradgedy Assistance Program for Survivors - which, since 1994, has dedicated itself to serving families of deceased service members - which now, of course, includes Covid victims. If you’d like more information, please visit their site at www.taps.org.
If you’re interested to follow our progress down the river, you can do so @a.river.eulogy on Instagram and A River Eulogy on Facebook.
