Taqueria Cantina Fundraiser

We are asking the community for the support while Taqueria Cantina reopens.

As you know by now the Belltown location was broken into and set on fire.

Taqueria Cantina is working on the logistics to do all the necessary steps in trying to get the restaurant reopened. The challenging part at the moment is waiting for the investigation and the evaluation on the final steps on what repairs are needed which this could take a very long time.

We thought that this process wasn’t going to take long but after the few discussions with the landlords, insurance, and investigators it seems it will take much longer for all this to have a final opening date.

While waiting for everything to be determined the support of our community is much needed as this will help alíviate some of the expenses that will help towards the holidays and on matters that insurance won’t cover.

Everything that involves Taqueria Cantina Belltown has been paused and we continue to wait patiently so the restaurant reopens so all staff members come back to work.

The biggest concern is the staff members. This is a very difficult time for the team to enjoy the holidays as everyone will now be waiting for the restaurant to reopen and funds will be limited.

All team members are on standby waiting to see what will happen. With going into the holidays and a slower tourism season it will be difficult for everyone to find a job immediately as the chances for Taqueria Cantina to open soon are slim.
