Taqueria Jalisco Employee Fundraiser

On 20 Dec, Devine suffered a great loss. A truck with a gas leak pulled through the drive thru at Taqueria Jalisco, on the corner of FM 173 and I-35.  The truck ignited and soon engulfed the building as well.  Fortunately, all customers and employees made it out of the restaurant safely. The manager, Fatima Angel, fought the fire with fire extinguishers and had to be pulled from the building my employees!  She was transported to Pearsall, where she was treated and released.  The majority of the building is a loss.

This restaurant is a staple in Devine.  It is constantly busy and known for not only great food, but great, friendly employees as well.  This fire has caused numerous employees to be without income during the holiday season and into the unforeseeable future. We are setting up this GoFundMe account to show the employees our appreciation and gratitude for the friendship they bring to Devine.  

Please help our town show these folks how much we value, love and respect them.
