Taqueria Jessica - family business in ATX needs your help!!

Taquería Jessica has been open for less than three years. It is a family-run food truck and catering service, popular for its great food and amazing service.

Last Thursday, they were visited by an inspector after being reported to the city for operating as a restaurant rather than as a food truck, which is how they are registered. To clarify, they operate from a food truck but provide accommodations for customers who wish to sit at a table, and they have storage with A/C (one of the things he needs to take down) to keep their products fresh and cool during the summer, when it’s a 100 degrees out.

As a result, they were fined over $7,000, and most of the structures they built now have to be torn down.

They are currently closed and will be visited by the inspector again in a week. This means time is running out, and they are not bringing in any business to cover all the expenses.

As a customer who has witnessed their hard work, I find it unfair what is happening to them, so I am appealing for support to help them remain open.
