Taquito’s Surgery

Our little 7 month old pup Taquito has just been diagnosed with a rare condition of Cystine Crystals in his bladder that is genetically inherited so unfortunately this was not something we could have prevented. The vet mentioned that this a life long issue that he is going to have to suffer with. Our vet only gave us two options to have these Cystine Crystals removed , which is to put him on a drug to have them dissolve within 6-8 months with negative side effects such as behavioral issues causing aggression and liver toxicity or our other option is two have them surgically removed. We are going with the better option of having them surgically removed to help him gain his natural hyper loving energy he has lost over the past week. If you know the 3 of us, you how much 3 of us have bonded since we were brought together, how much we love our Taquito, how much Taquito loves his mommies. We are asking our friends & family to help us get the surgery our baby needs so he doesn’t suffer much longer and have us get ahead and help prevent these stones from developing in our future years.
