Tara Dawn Rice Medical Bills & Expenses

I am Shellie, the sister of Tara Rice. December 4, 2023 she goes in to have a very extensive surgery on removing Stage 2 Cervical Cancer. She will be off work for 6 weeks or more. She will not be able to drive, or pretty much won’t be able to do anything from the incision being so big. Tara will basically be dependent on someone to be there with her to help with things from cooking or bringing meals for her and her kids, and getting her youngest back and forth to school. I’ve started this to help with any medical bills she will have left to cover, household bills and any other expenses she may need help with during the time she will be off from work.

A little back story - From Tara in October.

A little over a month ago I went in for my yearly check up and the results were abnormal so I had to go back and do another biopsy and the doctor did confirm that I have a tumor on my cervix, the size of a walnut in its shell about 3.4 cm big I then went back and met with a specialist and they confirmed that the tumor is cancer and It’s Stage 2 Cervical Cancer, that has spread. I was in shock to say the least and still am. So, if you feel it in your heart to help I would appreciate it very much. The hospital bills, and bills in general are piling up and I’ve been so nauseous that I’ve had to go home early or miss work some and things are tight. If you can’t a prayer would be great, I’m trying to keep my head up and push through and keep working because that’s what I need and my kids need me to do. I’m trying to be strong but I don’t know how strong I can be anymore. I know the holidays are coming and everyone is struggling right now so if you can’t donate that’s fine prayers are always appreciated.

Tara has Stage 2 Cancer. She was unable to have surgery Monday 12/4/2023. They put her to sleep, done an exam and found out that the cancer has spread a little more. She is waiting for her appointment for a second opinion at CARTI in Little Rock, Wednesday, 12/13/2023. Please continue to pray for her and the boys! This is stressful for her, and all of us. She has copays, deductibles to meet and out of pocket expenses and having to miss work doesn’t help much in keeping the doctor bills paid, while trying to manage a home and kids. Please SHARE!!
