Tara McVicker’s cancer treatments

Hello everyone! I would like to thank you in advance for listening to Tara’s story, it means a lot. As you know, cancer is a tough diagnosis for anyone to have to endure. Tara was first diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer in 2020, she had a complete tumor resection, went through standard of care, chemo and radiation. Doctors say GBM is one of the most aggressive cancers. Tara had no problems getting through all her treatments like a champ all while finishing her Master’s degree. After completing over a year of chemo, we found bad news. Unfortunately, a recent MRI scan shows recurrence in three areas and doctors say the tumors are inoperable! Now, Tara will start a new chemo medication and continue working with a team of naturopaths and doctors. We’ve learned that an integrative approach is most effective in getting rid of this cancer, supporting her body and immune system. Some of these treatments include: hyperbaric oxygen therapy, IV vitamin C, off label drugs, supplements, specific diets, and more. As most of us know, cancer is stressful, exhausting, and very complex. As we do our best to find answers and help Tara heal from cancer, our family would greatly appreciate any support.
