Tara O Moore Garland - Mellon Educate Cape Town

My name is Tara and I am a transition year student in Belmayne ETSS . I am traveling to Cape Town, South Africa on 1st February 2025 to work with the Irish charity Mellon Educate. 9 of my class mates and I will be volunteering to help improve children's literacy skills. As Nelson Mandela said "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." This is only possible thanks to the generosity of donors in Ireland and around the world.

I understand everyone is effected by the cost of living crisis, but even 5 euro will help me help others.
