In Memory of Tara Ruiz

As you may have heard, my niece, Tara Ruiz, passed away recently. She was living with her younger brother, Gabriel, in my family home in Stockton. Tara and Gabe were each others main support. In 2007, they witnessed their mother, my sister, tragically pass away. They both went through the additional loss of their maternal grandfather in 2011 and maternal grandmother in 2019, whom they both lived with. I am setting up this GoFundMe to raise some money to help Gabe with house, car, and other expenses for the next month or two. I'm hoping he will decide to move to SF, since I have an extra bedroom, which will also require money for relocation expenses. Gabriel is going through a lot right now, as he found his sister on 7/16. He will be very appreciative of any type of support, even if it's not monetary. It has been uplifting receiving calls and texts from Tara's friends and coworkers, and our family, who have been sharing their condolences and memories. Thank you all!
Tara's memorial services will be on Friday 8/2, 1-3 pm at Cano Funeral Home, 2164 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Stockton, CA 95205. Reception will follow.
