We lost a beautiful young woman, Tara Simer, way too soon. Tara Simer passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 from a presumed seizure while she was sleeping. Please donate to help the Simer family with funeral expenses during this difficult time.

Tara was 19 years old and living her best life, despite battling epilepsy and uncontrolled seizures. She was in love and loved by her boyfriend, Tommy Hopson. The young couple had recently found out they were expecting a child and were so excited for their future together.

Tara loved make-up artistry and creating fun inspired looks for holidays and different occasions. She was involved with Purple Peace (Foundation) for Epilepsy and wanted to help raise awareness and education about seizures and epilepsy.

Tara will be loved and missed by her Purple Peace family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tara's parents, Brian and Wendy; her sisters Tia and fiancé Deven, Talynn and husband Drew, and brother Trenten and girlfriend Jennifer; Tara's grandpa, Ronald Crook; Tara's boyfriend, Tommy, along with Tommy's parents, Cantis and Heather Williams, and Tommy's siblings.
