Tara-Lynn & Troy

My brother in law has had a stroke, he’s in the ICU in Amherst and has a long road ahead of him before he can even start rehabilitation.
Note: I am copying Tara-Lynn’s Facebook post on his condition as of this morning.
”As many of you are aware, Troy suffered a stroke yesterday morning. That’s about as much information as I have unfortunately They did two CT scans and could find no bleeds or tumours. Their best “guess” is a small blood clot that isn’t showing up on the scans.
As for his condition: it’s changing a lot. For most of the day yesterday, he was non verbal. He can respond to questions with a yes or no and a head nod, but the yes no are often in reverse. He started to form words at one point, by looking at letters on a board , and could point to letters where he continuously spelled pop Troy loves his coke. He often said our dogs names over and over.
He was moved to the ICU last night around 8:30pm and started to decline a bit. He could no longer say or spell any words. Our hope, in that, was because he was so tired. ”
Thank you everyone,
