Tara's Back Surgery in Germany

Hi everyone. My name is Victoria and I'm Tara's best friend.

As many of you know Tara suffered a back related injury to her back a couple years ago. Despite trying to continue to work, attend physio, chiro and many other specialists she has been unable to resume her full duties of employment and loss of enjoyment with activities in her life.

Findings - Diagnosis: Degenerative disc disease (DDD) (desiccation, dehydrated disc, loss of disc height), right foraminal stenosis, L5/S1.

Tara has done alot of research and found a surgeon in Germany who is willing to perform the risky surgery with a chance she can regain 85% of her mobility.

Unfortunately that comes with a heavy cost of $60,000. Tara would need to attend and recover alone for approximately 2 weeks before returning home. Her husband Michael will be required to remain here working.

The surgery date was set however was pushed back in order to fund the surgery. Date is TBD

We will also be looking into other fundraising options in the near future.
