Taras Poznik Memorial/Family Fund

The South Bay has been hit hard with the tragic loss of the legendary waterman, loyal friend and dedicated father, Taras Poznik. He was an avid spear fisherman and died doing what he loved.
Taras was a well known local around the South Bay. He was a truly unique individual. He wanted the people around him to be the best they possibly could be, he also wanted that for himself. The way he lived was evident in that moral compass. He was a gentle kind person with a heart of gold. His loins were geared in steadfastness, righteousness, truth and honor. I truly feel blessed to have known him and be able to call him my friend. His spirit will live on for eternity through his children. He leaves behind a young daughter and son.
