My name is Carla and I am hoping someone can help me spread the word in helping Tasha Finn. On October 22nd she was admitted into Thomas hospital for what we thought was just an infected boil but turned out to be Necrotizing Fasciitis: an acute disease in which inflammation of the fasciae of muscles

or other organs results in rapid destruction of overlying tissues. Of all areas it happens to be on her buttocks and has led to a lengthy stay of 8 days with 2 surgeries so far ,multiple antibiotics until the wound cultures returned and sent home with a PICC line. The original plan was to administer at home IV antibiotics but she has not met her $3000 deductible so she would pay $700 out of pocket every week. That was not an option so she is returning to the hospital 2?times a day 7 days a week for at least 14 days as of now for IV infusions. The hospital and doctors bills are starting to pile in along with the doctors visits to the surgeon and infectious disease specialist. At this point it’s still uncertain what else will need to be done furthermore due to not knowing if the current antibiotic treatment is effective or not.

Tasha has the biggest heart and a hard worker with a giving spirit a single mother of a teenager. She has applied for FMLA but there is always a delay and a chance that she could be denied. She is uncertain of how long she will be out of work so I am asking for any help. The funds will help with medical bills and treatment.
