Tasha Holt’s cancer battle

Hi, my name is Melissa Kosciolek and I’m fundraising for my dear friend, Tasha Holt. On December 12th, Tasha went in for her first routine mammogram. After many tests, biopsies, and MRI’s, Tashas’s results came back and she was diagnosed with DCIS, Ductal Carcinoma In situ. On Feb 8th, Tasha went in for another bilateral MRI. The cancer had grown in just a month. She is now preparing for a bilateral mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, and cancer treatment. Her reconstructive surgery will take place after her mastectomy and cancer treatments in 3 to 4 months.

Tasha is a beautiful wife, mother to 3 children, and a new grandmother. Tasha, as anyone that knows her, is a warrior! She will overcome and pass through the stress and anxiety with her strength. She will be unable to work for many of the upcoming months as she receives treatment in addition to her mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. She has quite a journey in front of her and could use some prayers. The medical bills are already piling up along with others, due to lack of being able to work. Tasha works in the service industry and there aren’t options for sick time or PTO.
