Tasha Needs help financially to help Penn live his best life

We all know vet bills are apart of Pet ownership but what happens when the new owner is a softy and takes on an older dog in dire need of someone amazing.
Penn's Story
Penn's owner passed away, and unfortunately, was not found for weeks. Penn was locked in the house, and by the time he was found he was extremely starved and dehydrated.
The original owner's family all live on the mainland and were not able to take on care of Penn. They also felt that transporting Penn in his condition was not a good idea.
A friend of the original owner knew Tasha as she used to massage his dog. The period she was massaging the friend's dog was when Goku (Tasha's Doberman) was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and so he knew the battle they went through and that she had lost him. When they realised they needed to find a home for Penn, the friend instantly thought of Tasha. He told the family about her and they were super happy for her to take him.
Penn was in the Dog's Home waiting collecting for 6 days. His body was in starvation mode and struggled with the sudden intake of food. He put no weight on in the time he was at the Dog's Home and when she got him on 09/07/2024, he weighed only 23kg. She got him some special food from the vet that was easier to digest and had to feed small meals frequently. His digestive system now seems to be recovered. Penn is now on a high calorie diet and he is rapidly putting on weight. Today (02/08/2024) he weighed 28.4kg.
Penn has a lump on his left wrist which the vets believe is a soft-tissue sarcoma. (Initially feared it was an osteosarcoma, so thank goodness it's not, because that would be too much to go through again). Penn was anemic, but his bloodwork more recently was good, so he's now booked to get the lump removed.
All these vet visits cost money and its unfortunately an unexpected all at once Medical issue that need to be taken care of for him to have the best Quality to live out his retirement.
So please if you can spare anything to help we would muchly appreciate it (even if its just to share this page).
Cheers Flick
