Right let’s do this!

I know many of you have seen or followed my previous GoFundMe page, In which I signed up with my Cousin Tasha to do the Race4life pretty mudder… Which we smashed!

This fundraiser was set up to raise money for my cousin, to make as many memories with her husband and 2 boys ( 10 & 5 years old ) after her diagnosis of stage 4 cervical cancer.

Back in September 2023 Tasha was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. Following 3 surgeries and many tests she was diagnosed with Small cell carcinomas of the cervix. Since then she has had a huge tumour which has developed and continuing to grow around her lower spine causing it to crumble. This is a highly aggressive cancer and she has been given a prognosis of 2 years….. The small cell carcinoma is incurable at present but the tumour on her spine is what causes all of her pain and discomfort and it’s becoming difficult for her to walk. The life extending surgery is not covered with the NHS so she has to go private! She has met with a wonderful consultant from turkey who has a 95% success rate with this type of surgery! The surgeon will remove as much of the tumour as he can with the help of a robot and then reconstruct the spine. This surgery will increase her life expectancy to 5 years!!

I cannot explain how important this surgery is to not only her and her quality of life but to her husband and boys! Our goal is to tick off as many goals, achievements, trips, challenges and make THE most amazing memories for her and her family.
