Help Tashina and Her Kids Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

On January 5th, my cousin Tashina and her three young children—Memphis, Porter, and Gracie—faced an unimaginable tragedy when their home was destroyed in a fire. The trailer has been deemed a complete loss by insurance, but the recovery process is slow. In the meantime, Tashina is still responsible for lot rent until the remains of the trailer can be dismantled and removed by a contractor.

Thankfully, Tashina and her kids are safe and have been taken in by her amazing parents. But despite this support, they’ve lost nearly everything—their home, belongings, and all the special gifts the kids received at Christmas. It’s heartbreaking to watch them navigate this loss and the feeling of being displaced.
