Tashir’s Internship In Greece

Hi, My name is Tashir Ballard. I’m currently a first year undergraduate at American International College majoring in Biology with a Healthcare Management minor. With a passion and dream to become an anesthesiologist. When looking for a career in healthcare , internships play a major role. 

Thankfully I was able to receive a wonderful opportunity to attend an internship in Athens, Greece. A 3-week program starting July 3rd , shadowing anesthesiologists & doctors filled with lots of tools, information and experience. This is a huge opportunity for me in lieu of my future career plans.

This not only a great opportunity for me from a cultural standpoint, but also great for networking and establishing relationships for future pre-med and work related opportunities. I would hate to miss out on this experience due to a lack of funding. This internship may only last for the couple of week's; however, the memories, experiences and connections will last me a lifetime.
