Help the Tashjian family rebuild ❤️
Donation protected
On 11/24 my sister Brittany and her husband Jonny went on a casual bike ride with their 3 children and received a call only 20 minutes after leaving that their home was up in flames. It's believed the fire likely began in their attic from an exhaust fan, and may have even been going before they left their home unbeknownst to them.
We are so grateful they were not there when the entire roof of their home collapsed and engulfed their home in flames. Sadly the only thing firefighters were able to salvage were some family photos that were hanging on the wall as their home is a total loss.
The Tashjian family have lost everything including their family vehicle that was inside the garage when the roof collapsed and sadly even Brittanys wedding ring that she had just removed a day prior. Brittany and Jonny both also ran their two businesses from their home and even though a part of their belongings will be replaced down the road both of them have had their ability to create an income for their family disrupted with this tragedy. Their business belongings and income were not something their home insurance company takes into account and it will take months or longer for them to recover and get things back on track and every penny is being used to help us support their family during this time of transition. Any donation will help their family tremendously as they begin rebuilding their lives.
***Edited*** We are beyond overwhelmed and grateful from the incredible outpouring of love and support from people wanting to donate clothes and goods! It's so humbling seeing everyone rallying together to help my sisters family during this time or tragedy. However at this time, as we have been receiving countless household items, clothing items, goods etc...are going to hold off on taking additional donations of goods to prevent overwhelming them with too much stuff until they get settled into their new living situation. If you would like to help with either cash or gift cards, feel free to reach out to me to arrange a location to drop off [phone redacted]. Again thank you so much for those who have already reached out wanting to help and for all the donations we have received to help them rebuild their lives, the Tashjian's are incredibly grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love.
