Tash's surgery fund

Hey all how's it going? I'm pretty nervous to be sharing something very personal but have reached a point where I need to reach out and see if I can get some support. I am looking to fundraise to get breast reduction surgery. I have had back pain and mobility issues ever since I was a teenager and first hit puberty. I have had problems with my left shoulder for over two years now due to the weight of my breasts and the different bras i've tried always create more and more tension on my left shoulder and upper back. Physio hasn't helped. The pain causes trouble with sleeping, exercising and sometimes basic arm movement. I am a very fit and active person but often have to restrict my physical activity due to the pain of the weight of my breasts. I have long tried to hide my boobs with the way I dress as I simply don't feel like they belong to me. It affects my confidence and feeling of comfort in my own body.
I have tried to appeal for this operation through my health insurance in Germany for over a year now and am making very little to no progress. My current surgeon even said we won't get the acceptance from TK for anything between another 6 - 12 months from now if that is at all. I have pain in my shoulder almost every day.
I have been recommended a clinic in Lithuania that offers the surgery for €4000. I would use the money to go to Lithuania and get this surgery as soon as I can. The surgery is major and I will need to take over 6 - 8 weeks off work. As a working-class freelancer artist, this would be very difficult for me financially, I would use the remaining money to pay my living costs for the 6 - 8 weeks I will need to recover once I have had the surgery.
A friend first suggested I try fundraising for this op over a year ago but I was scared to take the leap and share something so personal to me with people. But now I am tired of both the hustle and grind of trying to raise cash for this by myself, and by the system put in place where effectively a group of medical board members gets to decide what happens with my body. If you can in any way help contribute to what will be a life-changing op for me I would be eternally grateful. Many thanks for taking the time and much love xoxo
