As a lot of people may know there was an accident that occurred on Monday morning the 30th of Jan at Rowella in Tasmania. It involved a ford ranger towing a float with 4 horses on board (sadly all horses are deceased) the accident occurred around 1.30am Monday morning while on the way home from the Hobart harness meeting that was on the Sunday night, it involved 3 adults (2 of which are promising junior drivers) and 2 teenagers who are stable hands.
The accident has resulted in some serious injuries with those being
Brontë Miller (18) has dislocated one of her hips and broken the other, a fractured arm and unfortunately she has lost vision in one of her eyes.
Cody Crossland (19) has several broken ribs, a laceration to his face which required surgery, a broken shoulder blade and internal injuries.
Maree Wakefield (16) has a laceration to her face which is significant.
Lily Blundstone (21) has lots of bruising, aches and pains.
Then lastly Bronte’s little brother:
Blake Miller (14) who fortunately was only shaken up by the accident.
Whilst they don’t have life threatening injuries, it is still going to be a very long, stressful and extremely expensive rehabilitation so I’m asking for any donations big or small, it doesn’t matter as it will go a long way to getting these guys back doing what the love.all money raised will be divided equally between the 5 injured outside of go fund me by their close friend breaana smith who will receive the funds then pass them on.
