THE TASTE FOR LOS AL  SHIFTS GEARS FOR THE TASTE FOR THE FRONTLINE

Since 2001 The Taste for Los Al has provided a way for local restaurants to help our community over the years.  Now our Taste for the Frontline will help our local restaurants survive the emergency, and also help local healthcare workers who are fighting Covid-19.

The Taste is making an initial donation of $6,000 to start a campaign to pay local restaurants to provide meals to our local hospital heroes at Los Alamitos Medical Center.

We will initially buy around 50 meals a day from a local restaurant, and provide them to the most impacted crews at a cost of $500-750 a day.  But we would like to expand this to cover all shifts at the Medical Center – around $50,000 per month.  We would also like to expand it to other nearby hospitals serving our community, and also be prepared to continue beyond for perform this service for the duration of the emergency.

Please join us at any level – Just $25 buys two meals for the frontline workers, who will be facing a heightened urgency for at least the next 30 days

This program is managed by OUR Los Al, organizers of The Taste for Los Al which since 2001 has raised almost $4 million for activities at local schools.  Please consider donating to the Taste for the Frontline.  All donations are tax deductible.
