Tatiana Haywood's Life Celebration #TatianaStrong

Blessing! My name is Shirley Simeon; I am the mother of Tatiana Ninette Haywood.

My daughter, Tatiana's sunrise was March 12, 2005 and her sunset was May 24, 2023.

Tatiana graduated from Douglas Byrd High School where she had a passion for fashion and designing. Tatiana was to celebrate her graduation this June 7, 2023. She was accepted to Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) and their Summer Jump Start Program which would prepare her for the pursuit of a higher education in the fall. Her choice of study was architecture. Tatiana was also an entrepreneur! Alongside her mother, she started a business in Bragg Blvd Flea Market called Paparazzi Bling and Things. She loved opening the shop on the weekends and serving her customers. Early mornings, she would get dressed and be looking fabulous from head to toe with knitting materials, food, and snacks in hand. Knitting was one of her many hobbies; it helped pass time while she awaited her next customer. She had a collection of stuffed animals which she greatly valued, mostly unicorns. Tatiana enjoyed gardening, bowling, and shopping; she was an avid painter, and illustrator as well.

Tatiana was one of the most loving people in the world. She was very protective of her mom, her loved ones, and her animals. She was a kind, nurturing, and fun individual. Tati could turn any minor situation into a major party. She would bring out snacks, balloons and decorations, music, board games, and cards at the drop of a dime; instantly we were having a party. And oh, could this child play some cards. Usually, it was with her mother, stepfather, and grandmother, but she especially loved to challenge her grandma saying, “Come on grandma, I’m gonna win first, after that you can have it, cause that means I will be the winner all night.” She loved spending time with her family.
