New Scout HQ for Wotton-under-Edge

This fundraiser is organized by 1ST WOTTON-UNDER-EDGE SCOUT GROUP.

Since 2017 the members of Wotton Scout Group have been raising funds to build a new meeting hall that will provide modern, hygienic accessible indoor space for the 180 members of the Group but also allow us to grow our membership and offer scouting activities to as many local youngsters as possible.

As a result of the support, generous donations and grants from many local and national organisations and also private individuals, and after several years of hard work, many cakes baked, pancakes flipped and cups of tea poured, the scout group has raised the vast majority of the funds and have been able to start work on the project. The group works commenced in December 2024 and we are on our way, we are finally able to start the process to turn our dream of a new scout hut into reality.

However, we do not have enough funds to complete the build. We need funds to install the outside wooden cladding, provide toilet and kitchen facilities and fit out the electrics. You can help by making a donation and support Scouting in Wotton-under-Edge. No amount is to small, and we appreciate every donation made.

If you would prefer to donate in person, we hold regular fund raising activities including Conygres Teas, where the public can support us and enjoy a range of refreshments including teas, coffees, cold drinks and cakes. These are held on the following dates;
