The Beginning Of Tattered Sails

Hey Everyone!

I've started creating a game about pirates and pirate history. I've always had a fascination with piracy since I was young. It fuelled me in what I did and what I was into, from pirate fairs to pirate video games I always was into something piratey. As I got older and played more and more pirate games I found that all of them never fufilled the aspects of what a pirate life is too me or what it is in a history book. We all love the disney characters but they painted a romantic ideaology of piracy. 

So I decided to take upon myself to create a video where I felt like a pirate. A ocean going scallywag. I thought I could do it all! Well, I was somewhat wrong and by creating this gofundme campaign I can follow my dream of making a video game and pursuing a life that doesn't exist to its extent like it did in the 18th century.

I've already spent atleast 100-200 hours working hard on this game. I have a gallery of what i've done and what I am working on as I go on.

What Is Tattered Sails?
Tattered Sails is a Multiplayer roleplaying game where you take life as a pirate against the government to fill your pockets. Vast Oceans and many islands to travel and conquer.
