Taus for Paws: Supporting Pets Affected by CA Wildfires

The Phi Kappa Tau Nu Chapter brotherhood in Berkeley, CA is devastated by the impact of the California wildfires on our friends, family, and communities. Our hearts go out to everyone affected during this difficult time. Beyond the human toll, hundreds of pets remain lost or in shelters, urgently needing our support. Pets are not just companions—they are the heart and soul of many families. We understand the deep bond between families and their pets, as many of us have pets ourselves. In times of crisis, helping reunite families with their beloved animals is something we deeply care about. As they say, a dog is a man’s best friend—and we believe all pets hold that special place in our lives. That’s why we are dedicated to raising funds in partnership with Pasadena Humane, a nonprofit organization in Pasadena, CA, that delivers lifesaving relief and rescue efforts, offering shelter, medical care, emergency boarding, and essential supplies for animals impacted by wildfires, while working tirelessly to reunite lost pets with their families. Funds raised during this campaign will be donated directly to Pasadena Humane via GoFundMe through their collaboration feature, allowing the organization to allocate resources based on urgent and evolving needs. According to their website, donations will support efforts such as providing individualized care to animals, including fluids, oxygen, pain management, and wound treatment. Please note, this is not a formal partnership with Pasadena Humane but a show of support for their critical work.
