Help Coco Get Surgery

Hello friends & Family,
Our beloved bulldog Coco is in a lot of pain we need your help. For those of you that may not know, I’ve had Coco since undergrad as an emotional support dog. During that time she has been incredibly helpful in helping me manage my mental health and sensory issues. She is now 9 years old and in desperate need of surgery due to a couple of issues, she’s been dealing with recently. One of the most pressing issues is to address her hips. Our vet believes aside from arthritis, she likely ruptured something in her hind legs/hips in the past but due to bulldogs having high pain tolerances, it was never noticed. She also has some extensive dental work needing to be done and has some eye issues causing her to lose her vision if not addressed. She is now having a lot of difficulty walking and it is hindering her ability to go for walks, go outside to go potty, and she pants all night due to being in pain. She cannot eat or chew anything hard or crunchy without pain due to her dental problems.
Unfortunately, because she is a bulldog, pet insurance was not financially feasible for me in the past. I have maxed out my CareCredit card on her vet bills in the past and still working to pay that off.
I’ve been trying to save up enough for her appointments but money has been tight for us and we’re getting by paycheck to paycheck. So I need to suck up my ego and ask for help.
Currently, this is what we have confirmed from our vet that needs to be done and how we plan to spend the funds donated (the rest is up in the air as we discover what is fully wrong with her hips, eyes, and teeth):
- Xrays & Surgery for Hind Legs/ Hips including Anesthesia
- Post-op PT and any follow-up needed
- Dental Work w/ Anesthesia
- Eye problems addressed
- Purchasing a large-dog stroller to be able to transport her outside to go potty while recovering
- Any remaining funds from this GoFundMe after getting everything addressed with Coco will be donated to the Animal Rescue League of Boston to help support other doggos in need.
I really really appreciate any and all help provided so I can give my sweet baby the opportunity at living pain-free again.
